The Gilfus Educational Technology Framework, based on Blackboard adoption in over 2000 institutions, provided guidance on several key components relative to succesful education technology adoption as well as the implemention of enteprise wide eLearning systems.
eLearning continues to have a signifcant impact on organizations as they grasp to understand how to succesfully implement these new capabilities.
The Educational Technology Framework provides five key phases with key transition points at each stage, which indicate what is required to enable the institution to move to the next stage of educational technology adoption and transformation. In short, it outlines the processes and the developmental factors required to achieve sustainability across the enterprise.
